Cobb County Hit and Run Seriously Injures 17 year Girl

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports on a horrible accident that took place last night in Cobb County.   According to the report the 17 year old girl was a passenger getting out of her vehicle to retrieve a dog when suddenly she was hit by a late model Chevrolet Camaro according to Smyrna Police Officer Michael Smith.

The collision occurred at the International House of Pancakes on Cobb Parkway.  The 17 year old sustained serious injuries including fractured pelvis and internal bleeding and may not survive her injuries.

Police are searching for a late model Chevrolet Camaro with front end damage.  According to witnesses this vehicle collided into a vehicle prior to hitting the teenager.  If you know anything regarding this unfortunate matter you are encouraged to contact the Smyrna Police Department.

Our hopes and prayers go out to this young girl and her family.  This is another example of how you can not purchase enough uninsured motorist coverage for matter that are completely out of you and your family’s control.
