Icy Roads Claim Life of Marietta Teen

Karli Jobling of Kennesaw, Georgia was seriously injured and ultimately died from injuries she received yesterday evening around seven.

Jobling was a passenger in a car being operated by an Acworth woman age seventeen.  According to the Cobb County spokesman Joe Hernandez, the Acworth woman lost control of her Mitsubishi Eclipse on Stilesboro Road when she hit a patch of ice.

If you have any information you are encouraged to contact the Cobb County Police Department.

If you are driving on the icy roads, please consider your speed and give everyone plenty of space as it could be other drivers that hit the patch of ice causing them to lose control.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Jobling family for their loss.
