As reported in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on ajc.com, a University of West Georgia (UWG) student was struck and killed by an alleged drunk driver on Saturday outside the UWG football stadium.
According to authorities, Matthew Benjamin Dyas, 20, died when another vehicle driven by Gloria Faith Dupree, 23, turned into the path of his motorcycle on Lovvorn Road in Carrollton, GA.
Dupree was charged with first degree vehicular homicide and DUI according to the Georgia State Patrol.
