According to the Savannah Morning News in an article on savannahnow.com, the Savannah-Chatham police reported that an 18-year-old, Trevor Wendell King, of the 1800 block of Quincy Street was killed instantly Sunday morning at about 4 a.m. when he was ejected from his Honda Accord which overturned several times on Victory Drive between Bull and Whitaker streets, according to Jillian Miller, metro Police spokeswoman.
Sgt. Anthony Gallo with the metro’s major accidents investigation team, reported that King failed to negotiate a curve at Bull Street, hit a curb and a corner of Nevaeh’s Soul Food restaurant. He was traveling at a high rate of speed.
Police are continuing to investigate the accident and are looking for a silver or gray car, possibly a Nissan, that may have witnessed the wreck, said Miller.
