According to the ajc.com, the Georgia State Road and Toll Authority has received numerous emails from drivers of GA 400, who are concerned that if the tolls are removed, traffic will dramatically increase and cause the roadway to be crowded causing more traffic jams.
Governor Nathan Deal has annoucnced the toll booths will be removed by the end of 2013. Agency officials estimate the traffic will increase by 18 percent once the toll booths are closed.
