According to an article on cbsatlanta.com, a driver has been charged in the I-85 wreck that killed one early Tuesday.
Police said that after 31-year-old Ronnie Bascom Jr. hit a guardrail on the 17th Street exit ramp coming from I-85S, he got out of his car to check out the damage and was hit by a car driven by 36-year-old Joshua Taylor. Bascom died at the scene.

He was brought to Grady for the treatment of injuries that were not life threatening. He has been charged with vehicular homicide and DUI less safe.
We offer our sympathies to the family and friends of Mr. Bascom after his tragic passing and hope the Mr. Taylor is able to make a full recovery from his injuries.
