According to an article on ajc.com, a man from Marietta died on Saturday night and four other people were injured in a wreck on Powder Springs Road.
Police said that the man who died, 21-year-old Jordan Irby, was driving a 1999 Honda Accord northbound on Powder Springs Road and for reasons unknown at this time, drifted into oncoming traffic, hitting a 2002 BMW X5. Mr. Irby was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
The passengers in the Accord, 19-year-old Kandice Grace and 20-year-old Justin Grace also from Marietta were injured in the wreck and transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Jesus Estrada-Hernandez from Marietta was also taken to an area hospital for treament along with his juvenile passenger. Both were reported to have non-life threatening injuries.
