Savannah Police Cracking Down on Traffic Violators

Savannah Police Cracking Down on Traffic Violators

Beginning Monday, August 13, police in Savannah-Chatham County launched a “90-day blitz” to crack down on traffic violators in response to a larger-than-usual amount of serious crashes lately. Police Chief Willie Lovett has ordered all of his marked patrol cars to place a particular focus on traffic law breakers and to issue citations when needed.

Lt. Greg Mitchell, commander of the department’s traffic division, said that the officers will spend at least an hour of every shift specifically looking for traffic violators.

While there have only been six traffic deaths reported this year, the alarming rate of recent serious crashes shows cause for paying special attention to traffic violators. Be sure to do you part in following all traffic laws to improve safety on our roads and to avoid facing major penalties.

  • Awesome Lawyer and very helpful!

  • Mr. Wilson is truly a very good person who cares about people. I understand he selected this career but I do know he makes many sacrifices to help he’s clients. I am very grateful to have had him as my attorney and if I ever have to use one again (hopefully not) it will be Mr. Wilson.

  • He worked with me. He told me everything. He called me. He gave me all the information.

  • He will be my family lawyer from now until the end because I can trust him.

  • He's just a great guy.

  • He always calls you right back and even if it's on the weekend - he's going to call you back.
