According to an article on wsbtv.com, two construction workers were hurt at the Paulding County Airport when an aircraft hangar collapsed.
The incident happened Wednesday afternoon. Both workers were transported to area hospitals. One of the workers was critically injured. Their names have not been released.
Investigators from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) are loking into the matter and what may have caused the hangar to collapse including the possibility of the gusty winds that day at the airport playing a part. The hangar was only partially constructed consisting of just a skeleton made of steel and did not have walls or a roof.
We offer our best wishes to the injured workers and hope that they make full and quick recoveries from this unfortunate incident.
