According to an article on ajc.com, a woman from Cumming died Sunday afternoon on Georgia 400 in Dawson County when the motorcylcle on which she was riding as a passenger collided with a SUV around 12:45 p.m.
The deceased, Krista M. Stein, 47, was riding with Daniel Stein, 53, of Cumming on a Harley Davidson traveling north when a Chevrolet Tahoe attempted to cross the northbound lanes of Georgia 400 from Hendry Grady Highway. Daniel Stein was transported by air to Grady with serious injuries according to a spokesman from the Georgia State Patrol.
The driver of the Tahoe, as well as the passenger escaped serious injury.
The wreck is currently under investigation.
