Bicycle Registration Bill Pulled

As reported by 11Alive.com, Hall County government center was where a meeting took place to discuss a proposal to issue as much as a $100.00 fine to bicyclist for not having their bicycles registered with the State of Georgia.

The proposed bill is Georgia 689, which would have state residents register, bicycles, trailers, motorcycles and motor vehicles with the state and pay registration fees.

The voice of the voters appears heard as the state representatives who were present stated they did not intend to push the bill any further.
