Our video topic for today is I’m on a trial calendar; it’s been already 2 years since the date of the crash, how much longer is my claim going to take or my case in this point? Well, the short answer is if you’re on a trial calendar it shouldn’t take too much longer, but some of these cases can extend into several years and that’s something that when you file a lawsuit you need to be aware of. It’s not something that will typically settle quickly unless you have a lot of facts in your favor.
However, once you submit your case to the court you’re on the court’s schedule and the court has to process you with the other cases and so your time can vary. The best possible answer you can obtain is from your attorney in finding out what other things can or may delay the case and how can we, uh, eliminate the possible delays to get this to trial as quickly as possible if that’s in fact what you want to do. We hope that you found this information helpful and we hope that you’ll come check out our other videos and give us a call if you have any questions. Thank you.
