912-208-2992, www.TyWilsonLaw.com Atlanta workers’ compensation attorney Ty Wilson discusses what workers’ compensation will pay if you have a scar. This is for information purposes it is ALWAYS recommended that you speak with a Georgia workers’ compensation attorney for specific answers to your specific claim.
Hello. My name is Ty Wilson. I’m a Georgia workers’ compensation attorney practicing law in the State of Georgia. And our video topic for today is: What does workers’ compensation pay if I have a scar?
Under Georgia workers’ compensation, you’re not entitled to pain and suffering. And typically, a scar falls into that category. However, if the scar is affecting your ability to do your job then it could have an impact on your workers’ compensation claim. That said, it’s going to be very specific upon where it is. But workers’ comp will not pay for a scar just because you have a scar. In a personal injury matter, that is a different story. However specifically for workers’ compensation, scarring in general does not garner any additional payments.
We hope that you’ve found this information helpful. And we hope that you’ll come check out our other videos. And if have any specific questions, please feel free to give us a call. Thank you.
