Atlanta motorcycle lawyer | Charges Filed in Wreck that Killed a Walton County Deputy

According to an article in accessnorthga.com, a Gainesville man has been charged in connection with an accident that killed an off-duty Walton County sheriff's deputy on Saturday.

The victim, 46-year-old, Richard Hester, was on a motorcycle when a vechicle attempted a turn into a gas station and hit his bike according to the Georgia State Patrol. A passenger on the motorcycle was airlifted to an area hospital.

The man charged in the wreck, Robert Lawrence Champine, 59, from Gainesville is facing several charges relating to this fatal wreck and include first degree vehicular homicide, felony posession of marijuana and DUI.
