Congratulations to Ohio UPS driver, Ron Sowder, for hitting his 50th year of safe driving!

Sowder is the company's first employee to reach this milestone. More than 2,500 UPS drivers have reached the 25-year mark for safe driving, but Sowder is the first to hit 50.

According to an article on cbsatlanta.com, Sowder has driven over 4 million miles and has transported over 35 million packages for UPS.

Sowder made a comment that remaining free from accidents is becoming a harder task due to the increasing number of distracted drivers on the road, including people who text and drive.
