Kroger has recalled their Private Selection Extreme Moose Tracks ice cream because it may contain peanuts.
People with peanut allergies could suffer severe or possibly fatal consequences if they consume peanuts or products containing peanuts.
The ice cream was sold in 16-ounce packages with a sell-by date of June 18, 2012 and have the UPC code 11110 52909.
Stores that received the products inclue Kroger, Jay C, Food 4 Less, Owen's, Pay Less and Scott's stores in AL, GA, IL, IN, KT, MI, MO, OH, SC and TN.
The Kroger Company instructs shoppers to return the ice cream to the grocery store of purchase for a refund or a replacement of the ice cream.
