Ground Beef Recall Due to Possible E. Coli Contamination

Kansas company, National Beef Packing Co. LLC, is recalling over 60,000 pounds of ground beef that could be contaminated by E. coli O157:H7 according to the USDA Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS).

Visit the FSIS News Release page for more detailed information regarding this recall.

E. coli infection can cause bloody diarrhea, dehydration, and in very serious cases, kidney failure. People with weak immune systems are at greater risk for infection for foodborne illness.
