Infant Twins Die in Wreck | Atlanta Car Accident Lawyer

A wreck involving an SUV took the lives of 7-month-old twins last week in Cordele, Georgia.

According to WTOC on wtoc.com, the infants, Endya Kali Weathers and Gya Andraya Weathers of Albany, were strapped in their car seats, but the seats were not fastened inside the car. The infants were both ejected from the SUV.

Per the coroner, both infants died as a result of head trauma. One infant was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck and the other died at the hospital.

The mother of the babies, Essance Satterfield, was injured and transported to a hospital after the wreck. Her condition is unknown at this time. Per the article, she lost control of her vehicle on Hwy. 300 near the Hwy 40 overpass.

According to WTOC, one other person was injured in the wreck and two others were not.

The accident is under investigation.
