As reported by the Savannah Morning News on savannahnow.com, Todd Long, 37 and Jaymie Allison, 30, were both injured following a motorcycle accident after midnight on Thursday. Each was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle on East Gateway Blvd. when Allison lost control of her bike and slid it across the road. Long, who was traveling behind Allison, struck her as she lost control. Both vehicles crashed.
Both victims were brought to Memorial University Medical Center. Allison suffered life threatening injuries and is in critical condition and Long is in serious condition.
The two drivers were charged with DUI. Other charges could be pending as the police department continues its investigation.
