Pedestrian Killed While Crossing Clayton County Road

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in an article on ajc.com, Brandon Duncan, 23, was struck by a Dodge Caravan on Mt. Zion Road Thursday morning.

Capt. Tina Daniel stated that the Dodge Caravan swerved to avoid being hit by another vehicle which was changing lanes and hit Duncan. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is not clear if speed or distracted driving was the cause of this unfortunate incident.

Charges are likely pending against at least one of the drivers, however, the investigation is ongoing per Daniel.

The drivers' names have not yet been released.
