According to WSAV on wsav.com, three semi trucks and a vehicle wrecked on Wednesday night and caused I-16 to be closed for hours.
WSAV reported that the Georgia State Patrol said that a chain reaction occured when one of the semis hit another one, which caused a third truck to jackknife. A car that had to avoid the wreck then ran into a tree.
Per the article one of the truck drivers saved another truck driver by punching out a window and pulling the driver out. The driver of the third truck was taken by flight to an area hospital. The driver of the car escaped serious injury according to the article.
