Two Women Injured in Effingham County Crash

According to an article from the Savannah Morning News on Savannahnow.com, at approximately Noon on Tuesday, a green Volvo sedan traveling south on Ga. 21 T-boned a red Ford Mustang. The Mustang was pulling out of Savannah Technical College Effingham Campus according to a Georgia State Patrol Trooper.

David Ehsanipoor, a spokesman for the Sheriff, reported both vehicles suffered major damage and that the driver of the Ford Mustang was unconscious and had to be extracted from the vehicle.

The driver of the Mustang was taken by ambulance to Memorial University Medical Center with extensive injuries. The driver of the Volvo was also taken to Memorial with less severe injuries.

Charges were still pending.

Our prayers are with the families of the victims of this terrible accident.
