A: Yes, we tell as many people as we can of their ability to prevent being financially destroyed from the medical bills of a car wreck. The answer is you must be adequately insured. You can not be driving on the road with only $100,000 in uninsured motorist coverage. There are simply too many people operating their vehicles with either the minimum coverage in Georgia which is currently $25,000 or no insurance at all. Sure you can sue someone who carries minimum coverage, but it is very likely they do not have any assets and it can be difficult following them around for years hoping that the obtain some so you can go back to court to request the local sheriff take the assets and force a liquidation sale.
For more information on this topic please order my free special report titled "Buying Car Insurance in Georgia". This special report was written to educate Georgian families and hopefully prevent them from being destroyed financially from irresponsible drivers. Remember, you can not stop the drunk from getting behind the wheel or the oncoming driver from crossing the yellow line, but you can control the amount of insurance you have to cover you incase they are not properly insured.
