Should I document my car accident injuries with a diary or photos or video?

A: This is definitely a good idea.  Our office has developed and produced a book for you to document your injuries if you are involved in a motor vehicle collision and/or personal injury matter, and we will provide this to you free of charge.
It is a good idea if you have visible injuries to take photographs and make sure you document when the photographs were taken so that you can easily refer back to them and show the healing process.  Video is also a good idea for the same reasons.  What is important is that you’re consistent. We have many people who start keeping these types of diaries, only to drop off and stop documeting in them.
Remember, it is most important to document exactly how your injuries are affecting you physically, mentally, and otherwise - for example, your decreased ability or your inability to carry out normal tasks.
If you would like a copy of our injury diary, please call our office at 1-888-689-5224 or fill out a web contact form requesting your copy.
