According to an article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on ajc.com, two students were killed and one seriously injured in a wreck on Friday in Pickens County on Ga 136. All three men attended Georgia Tech.
Georgia State Patrol reported that the three students were in a 2010 BMW around 4:30 a.m. when the car left the road while on a curve, hitting an embankment and flipping over, causing all three to be trapped in the vehicle.
Naren Raghuraman, 21, a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. Ratheesvar Mohan, 20, and the other passenger, Daniel Bernard Hickman, 21, were transported by air to an Atlanta hospital. Hickman died at the hospital on Monday.
According to the article, investigators of the incident do not believe alcohol to be a factor and report all three young men were wearing seatbelts.
The accident is still under investigation.
Our prayers are with the family and the friends of the young men who were killed and the young man who was injured in this horrific wreck.
