Atlanta Child Hit By Ice Cream Truck Dies

A 10-year-old Atlanta boy was killed and a 7-year-old boy suffered a broken leg after being hit by an ice cream truck in southeast Atlanta on the 700 block of Eloise Court according to an article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
According to Atlanta police, the boys were playing on the back of the truck and fell off when the truck drove away. The 10-year-old was then run over. He died at the hospital.
The driver had asked the parents to get the children away from the truck per a police spokesperson.
The incident is being investigated.
