According to an article on ajc.com, a seven-year-old boy has died after being hit by a vehicle on Sunday night in DeKalb.
Per the article, Channel 2 Action news reported that police said the boy, his dad, and a younger sibling were walking on Flat Shoals Parkway and trying to cross the street to an apartment complex when the boy pulled away from his father into traffic.
The incident is being investigated. No names have been released at this time. Police told Channel 2 that the driver may not have been able to avoid hitting the boy.
