According to an article on ajc.com, two Atlanta police officers were hurt in two different accidents on Friday. Both of the officers sustained minor injuries according to a spokesperson for the APD.
One officer was injured in a multi-vehicle accident before 8:00 a.m. on I75/85 North just south of University Avenue. The incident occured when traffic stopped suddently and the officer hit the back of another vehicle.
The other wreck occured after an officer on a motorcycle hit a pothole on West paces Ferry Road near I-75.
