A woman from Austell that suffered injuries in a wreck on March 26 has died according to Cobb County police.
The deceased is Patsy White, 54 years old. She was a front-seat passenger in a vehicle involved in the wreck.
Police investigators are led to believe that Myrtis Angelette, 86 years old, also from Austell was driving southbound on Flint Hill Road near Dogwood Hills Court in Austell when she attempted a left-hand turn into a driveway. It was at that time that her vehicle and another vehicle going north collided.
The second vehicle was driven by Fayenell Engrisch, 64, from Mableton, and Ms. White was a passenger in that car. Ms. white was taken to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries.
A citation was issued to Ms. Angelette for failure to yield while making a left turn according to police.
An investigation is ongoing in this matter. Police are asking anyone with information to call 770-499-3987.
