A Smyrna mom and her two children were hit by a SUV while trying to cross Concord Road on Monday morning.
Lisa Stark, 25, was attempting to get to her bus stop with her two young children, 5 years, and 7 months, while pushing a stroller. According to police, Stark reported the 5-year-old ran into traffic, after which time, all three were hit by a Hyundai SUV.
None of the injuries were life threatening.
Police report that it does not seem as if speed or DUI were factors in the incident and remains under investigation.
A CBS Atlanta article reveals that there is no crosswalk or stop sign on the main road, which makes for a dangerous situation.
We certainly hope that Ms. Stark and her children are able to make full and quick recoveries from the incident.
