According to an article in the Walton Tribune on waltontribune.com, motorcyclist, Richard Lynn McKee, 24, of Loganville, was hit by a car driven by Deane Stapp Smith, 67, of Covington, when Smith allegedly ran a stop sign on Highway 138 in Covington.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, McKee died at the scene and Smith died later at Grady Memorial Hospital.
