As reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on ajc.com, two Rottweilers attacked an 8 or 9- year-old child while waiting at a bus stop in southwest Atlanta. The child had to be transported to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital according to an Atlanta Police spokeswoman.
A second child waiting at the same bus stop located near the 1300 block of Sylvan Road was able to escape the attack.
The dogs belong to two separate owners and each has been cited by Fulton County Animal Control. The dogs were removed from the neighborhood according to the spokeswoman for the APD.
We are praying for the child's full and quick recovery from this tragic attack.
