Douglas County Wreck Kills One, Injures 4 | Atlanta Car Wreck Attorney

A head-on crash in Douglas County took the life of a 57-year-old woman and injured four other people indluding a 19-month old on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased, Ivery I. Mattox Parks, was driving a Ford Focus when she was hit head-on by a Chevy Malibu driven by Theo Roberts, 23, from Mableton. The Malibu crossed the center line on Bankhead, sideswiped a pick-up and then crashed into the Parks' vehicle according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on AJC.com.
Roberts was injured and taken to an area hospital. Additionally, two other adults and a child in the car driven by Parks were injured. 19-month-old Akyeryah Mattox was transported to an area children's hospital for injuries and Esther Ruth Mattox, 35, from Mableton was flighted by helicopter to an Atlanta hospital.
Charges in this wreck are pending.
