Eight Year Old Boy Hit & Killed by Bus in Cartersville

As reported by the Atlanta Journal Constitution an eight year old boy was hit and killed at the Cartersville bus barn.
Apparently it appears he rode a bus to the bus barn where he mother works. He allegedly exited the bus and as he was walking around the bus another bus came by and hit him.
It is unclear if he was running, if the bus was traveling to fast for conditions or if there were other distractions which may have contributed to this most unfortunate event.
Both the bus driver and the eight year old mother were taken to the hospital because they were so distraught. The eight year old was pronounced dead at the scene.
