As reported by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on ajc.com, a 9-year-old girl, Gracelle Sanders of Lawrenceville, was run over and killed after stepping onto Club Drive in Duluth and into the path of a black 2001 Mazda Tribute driven by a 16-year-old that is charged with fleeing the scene of the accident.
Gwinnett County police said the driver kept going and then stopped at Beaver Ruin Road and Steve Reynolds Boulevard at a convenience store and tried to clean up the front the SUV and then filed a false accident report.
