A head-on wreck on US Highway 27 Alternate south of Moreland critically injured three people on Wednesday.
According to the Times-Herald.com, a northbound Buick LeSabre swerved to avoid a vehicle exiting a residential drive, crossed the center line and then hit a southbound Toyota Corolla head on. The man driving the Buick and two women in the Corolla were all transported to area hospitals by air after a "very extensive extrication" involving both cars.
The names of the injured have not been released at this time.
