Savannah Boy Killed By Vehicle in Driveway - Update

According to an article in the Savannah Morning News on savannahnow.com, eleven-year-old, Kyle Bachman, was waiting for his school bus in a driveway near his bus stop at the corner of Mendel and Whitefield Avenues in Savannah on Wednesday morning, when police say he was backed over by a Ford F-650.
Police say they do not believe that the man knew that he backed over the boy, which is why he continued on to work.
According to neighbors, children often gathered in this particular driveway while waiting for the school bus. The bus stop is at the intersection of Whitefield and Mendel Avenues, just a steps away from the driveway where this terrible accident occurred.
