As reported by the Savannah Morning News on savannahnow.com, a Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) student was hit by a tour bus while riding her bike. At the time of the report, the student remained in critical condition at Memorial Health.
Zhouping Ren, 26, was riding her bike against traffic southbound on one-way Montgomery Street, when she was hit by a Ghosts & Gravestones tour bus, which was travelling east on Oglethorpe Street and had a green light according to police.
The incident is still under investigation by the Savannah Metro Police Major Accident Investigation team as well as SCAD security.
