According to cbsatlanta.com, an infant, 3 months old, died when an SUV crashed through a home in Valdosta on Sunday morning.
The article states that per WALB-TV, a Chevrolet Equinox ran through a stop sign and then crashed into the house where the child, a sibling, and the mother were sleeping.
The infant, Corey Dixon, was already dead when the emergency workers arrived at the scene. Another child, 21 months old, was injured and taken to an area hospital. The mother of the children, Varmel Stewart, was taken to a hospital as well, but was released.
Clifford Dotson II, 23, has been charged with vehicular homicide according to the article.
