According to an article in the Brunswick News on www.thebrunswicknews.com, an 81-year-old woman has been hospitalized due to being hit by a vehicle while walking downtown.
The woman, Pauline S. Jones from Glynn County, was struck by a pick-up truck that had turned onto Ellis from Gloucester, according to police. The condition of the woman is not available at this time.
Police say no charges have been filed, however, authorities are investigating the incident.
