Two Stone Mountain teenagers have been indicted by a DeKalb County grand jury for allegedly racing and hitting three other teens and killing one of them in January 2010. The teens have been free on bond. They were both 17 years old at the time.
The teens, Shaheed Walee Saunders and Tomcum Tom Siripanhya, were additionally charged with four counts of serious injury by vehicle and reckless driving.
Tanesha Williams, 14, was killed in the incident and Brianna Rowell and Benjamin Omozusi were injured. Omozusi sustained a very serious injury to his legs, which remain disfigured.
Our prayers remain with the family and friends of the young lady whose life was lost due to this horrific incident.
