Woman Killed in Cobb Crash

As reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on ajc.com, a 20-year-old Marietta woman was killed when her car was hit by another car running a red light.

Chassity Hollaman died at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital of injuries from the three-car crash that occurred at the intersection of Barrett Parkway and Roberts Boulevard in Kennsaw according to Cobb County police.

Hollaman was driving a 2006 Toyota Solara through a green light when she she was hit by Alberto Jose Abreus, driving a 1996 Ifiniti G20, who allegedly ran a red light. He slammed into the driver's side of the Solera and also struck a 1998 Ford Explorer that was stopped and driven by Brianna Brooks of Woodstock. Brooks had her two children with her but were not hurt, police said.

Abreus was hurt but refused to be taken to the hospital.  He is expected to be charged said
